Molly-Mae Hague announces split from Tommy Fury | Ents & Arts News

Social media influencer Molly-Mae Hague has announced her spilt from boxer Tommy Fury just over a year after they got engaged.

The couple met during the 2019 series of the ITV2 reality show Love Island and welcomed the birth of their only child, a daughter named Bambi, in January last year.

Sharing the news of their break-up in an Instagram post, Hague wrote: “Never in a million years did I think I’d ever have to write this.

“After five years of being together, I never imagined our story would end, especially not in this way.

“I am extremely upset to announce that mine and Tommy’s relationship has come to an end.

“I will forever be grateful for the most important thing to me now and always, my beautiful daughter.

“Without us there would be no her, she will always be my priority.

“I want to thank you all for the love you have shown us over the last five years. You have all been a part of our journey and I feel it’s right to share this with you all.

“Whilst I attempt to navigate the coming days and weeks please kindly respect my privacy over this difficult time, I’ll be back when it feels right. Molly-Mae x.”

The couple recently starred in the Netflix reality series At Home With The Furys together with Fury’s half-brother and fellow boxer, Tyson Fury.

Nigel Farage accused of being ‘Tommy Robinson in a suit’ over Southport stabbings comments | Politics News

Nigel Farage has been accused of stirring up online conspiracy theories and was called “Tommy Robinson in a suit” over comments he made about the Southport stabbings.

The Reform leader and new Clacton MP posted a video on X on Tuesday afternoon – before riots broke out – questioning the accuracy of the police’s assessment that Monday’s knife attack was not terror related.

Three young girls died in the attack north of Liverpool, while eight other children suffered stab wounds. Five are in a critical condition alongside two adults who are also critically injured.

Latest Southport stabbings updates

On Tuesday evening, a protest turned violent outside a Southport mosque after false online accusations the attacker was a Muslim refugee who came from Syria on a small boat last year.

Police said they believe the group were English Defence League (EDL) supporters and many had come from outside Merseyside.

Ahead of the protest, Mr Farage said in a video: “I wonder whether the truth is being held from us, I don’t know.”

He speculated about whether the stabbing suspect was being monitored by security services.

Southport misinformation explained

Brendan Cox, husband of murdered MP Jo Cox, said the remarks were “right out of the Trump playbook” and make him “nothing better than a Tommy Robinson in a suit”.

Anti-Islam campaigner Robinson founded the far-right EDL and led it until 2013.

“It is beyond the pale to use a moment like this to spread your narrative and to spread your hatred, and we saw the results on Southport’s streets last night,” Mr Cox told BBC Radio Four.

Robinson posted a video online on Tuesday, saying: “None of us are feeling safe in our own country, in our own towns.”

He accused the government and police of “endangering our country” and claimed they care more about people coming to the UK from other countries “than British children”.

In an interview with the PA news agency following Mr Cox’s remarks, Mr Farage maintained his position.

He insisted he had “merely expressed a sense of sadness and concern that is being felt by absolutely everybody I know – ‘what the hell is going on?'”

Referring to other recent incidents, he said it is “quite legitimate to ask questions”.

He told PA: “I think it’s perfectly reasonable to ask what is happening to law and order in our country.

“And who are the perpetrators? Why? Very legitimate questions I was asking, and to conflate that with EDL (English Defence League) or anybody else, frankly, it’s desperate stuff.”

Mr Farage said of Mr Cox’s comments comparing him to Robinson: “The comment is beneath contempt.”

Man ‘locked eyes’ with knifeman

Labour MP Jess Phillips said Mr Farage could have asked questions about the incident in parliament on Tuesday “if he had bothered to turn up to parliament”.

“He didn’t turn up, he grifted instead,” she wrote on X.

Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner said the “disgraceful” rioting was fired up by “disrespectful” online theories.

Without referring to Mr Farage, she told ITV’s This Morning: “Speculation and some of the untruths that have been put around social media, not only is that creating tensions and fear in the community, but it’s disrespectful to family who maybe want those answers that haven’t got those answers.

“My plea is that we all need to step back and just wait and then that information will come but allow the police to do their work”.

Violent clashes with police in Southport

Former Conservative MP Tobias Ellwood accused Mr Farage of deliberately riling up tensions and called on him to delete his video on X and said he lost his brother to terrorism.

He wrote: “To ramp up hatred online by claiming the Southport attack was terrorist related (culminating in riots, a mosque damaged and 27 police injured) is not just reprehensible but needs addressing. Otherwise it will happen again.

“Disgusted how a sitting MP deliberately enflames tensions without any justification.

“Farage should delete this tweet.”

The 17-year-old suspect in the killings cannot be named for legal reasons due to his age.

He was born in Cardiff to Rwandan parents and is from the village of Banks, outside Southport.

The teenager remains in custody accused of murder and attempted murder.

Tommy Fury beats KSI on majority decision in controversial Manchester bout | UK News

Tommy Fury has defeated KSI on a majority decision after the pair faced off in a six-round cruiserweight match in Manchester.

The professional boxer was given the nod 57-56 by two judges with a third scoring the contest 57-57.

His win was marred by a controversial points decision after he landed 12 jabs and 39 punches which connected compared to KSI’s 38 as well as having a point deducted for a rabbit punch.

KSI, a YouTube star, rapper and boxer, said after the bout: “It’s a robbery, how many jabs did he land? I’m the YouTuber, you’re the boxer, I understand, you have to win. I want to appeal.”

KSI, who came into the arena in a green Lamborghini alongside rapper Giggs, might have been the away fighter but his fans roared in support when he landed a solid overhand right early in the first round.

Fury responded with a left hook but his habit of landing several rabbit punches when the fighters were tied up led to him being docked the point in the second round after several complaints from KSI.

KSI showed stamina with a combination of uppercuts and overhead rights.

In the third round, he was ducking and diving as the bigger Fury began to lean on his opponent, beginning to find his range.

The fighters began to clinch a number of times in the next, although both came close to unloading with right hands before KSI took to the inside at the start of the fifth round in a tight encounter.

KSI then kept Fury at arms’ length throughout the final round and believed he had pulled off the shock win as he celebrated in his corner.

The long-term rivals entered the ring on Saturday night for their highly anticipated clash, after a war of words that lasted months.

KSI, 30, who garnered a huge following through his gaming videos, co-launched Prime energy drinks with fellow YouTuber Logan Paul.

KSI won his only previous fight as a professional against Logan Paul. He has fought eight times in total, with five wins, one draw, one no-contest and now one defeat.

KSI vs Tommy Fury: YouTuber to fight unbeaten boxer in Manchester | Ents & Arts News

YouTuber KSI will fight boxer Tommy Fury in Manchester later this year.

The 30-year-old internet star, founder of Prime energy drinks, has fought in the ring before – but this will be his first bout since taking a break from the limelight after using a racist slur in an online video.

Fury, the brother of WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, has already fought a YouTube celebrity this year, beating Jake Paul in Saudi Arabia in February.

The Manchester fight will take place at the AO Arena on 14 October.

KSI, real name Olajide Olatunji, has admitted it will be “the toughest fight in the influencer boxing scene”.

He has previously fought Jake Paul’s brother Logan, another YouTuber, who will fight at the same event against an unannounced opponent set to be revealed in the coming days.

Fury dismisses ‘joke’ YouTube fighters

Fury has described the upcoming bout as “easy money” and said he will knock KSI out “inside four rounds”.

The 24-year-old, who starred in Love Island in 2019, has won all nine of his professional fights – four by knockout.

He told Sky Sports earlier this year that YouTubers-turned-fighters like KSI and the Pauls “are a bit of a joke”.

“All these guys are the same to me,” he said.

“I’m used to growing up fighting against proper boxers.”

February: Scuffles at Fury and Paul weigh-in

Fight won’t be professionally sanctioned

KSI, who first rose to fame playing the FIFA video game for an online audience, is a regular on the popular Sidemen YouTube channel, which has nearly 19 million subscribers.

October’s fight is being organised by his Misfits Boxing label and will be broadcast by DAZN.

However, the fight has not been sanctioned by the British boxing regulator as a professional match – and KSI lacks a professional licence in the UK.

Only one of his previous fights has been professionally sanctioned, with the others all exhibitions.

His bout with Fury has instead been sanctioned by the Professional Boxing Association, but it won’t count towards either fighter’s professional record.

Jake Paul and Tommy Fury pulled apart at weigh-in ahead of Saudia Arabia clash | UK News

Tommy Fury and Jake Paul have had to be pulled apart at a weigh-in ahead of their clash in Saudi Arabia on Sunday.

The boxers traded insults and pushes as they squared up hours before their blockbuster fight – billed as “The Truth”.

Their long-standing feud will finally conclude at the Diriyah Arena after two previous scheduled matches had to be cancelled.

Fury, 23, was joined in his corner on stage by half-brother and heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury.

The former Love Island contestant told journalists: “Tomorrow night, his time is up. Jake Paul will no longer be boxing.

“I’m going to put this guy away in four rounds.”

But Paul, 26, has claimed Fury was performing for the cameras.

“He’s acting on stage, getting all hyped up, trying to act like his brother.

“This professional boxer is going down; it’s easy, it’s simple.”

And Paul accused his rival of being nervous ahead of their meeting while insisting he was “ready, calm, cool and collected”.

“This is what I do. He’s shaking up on stage; you can see the nerves running through his system.

“I’m chill,” he added.
